Waterfalls bring your garden alive with sparkling light and the splash of water as it tumbles down over rocky ledges.

Waterfalls can be configured to flow into a stream, end in a rippling pool, or continue on to another set of falls.

Streams can begin with a waterfall or fountain and can run any distance to end in a koi pond, shallow pool, or another set of waterfalls. A water feature can incorporate one or more streams. Streams can be configured to flow down different degrees of slope to create quiet slow moving ribbons of water or fast bubbling rapids.

The traditional water feature is a deep pond, filled with koi and decorated with exotic water lilies. But the choice is yours. New technologies provide greater flexibility in pond design, and with such features as biological filters and mechanical filters, maintenance time is greatly reduced.

Pondless systems are ideal for public areas or for families who worry about safety or don't want to look after a pond.

With a pondless system, your stream or waterfall simply ends in a deep gravel bed, creating the impression of a stream ducking under ground.

Biological filters and mechanical skimmers are hidden in the water feature design to keep maintenance requirements even lower.
